Marangoni Tyres - Century Motorsport Yaris

Century Motorsport have been asked to prepare the engine and improve the handling on the Marangoni - Redline Yaris Project. The project shown in the Redline Magazine in 2007 was to transplant a MK2 Toyota MR2 Turbo engine into a Toyota Yaris. However whilst the project was extremely successful in producing a stunning car, the engine performance and handling characteristics were not quite as desired. Marangoni approached Century Motorsport’s engine expert Nathan Freke to produce a car capable of high performance on the drag strip in tandem with the UK’s fastest MR2, campaigned over the last 2 years by Nathan. The fact that Century has been chosen by the 2nd largest Italian tyre company to carry out the required transformation is testament to the quality of Century Motorsport’s work.
